I used to work in North Sydney, and really didn’t enjoy the commute to and from the other side of the bridge. I remember walking past one man in particular one day, who looked so angry that I was walking in his path. It was a bit of an ugly moment. Recently I watched political humourist Bill Mahers’ hilarious and troubling documentary Religious which inspired this piece about people being dragged in to religion when they are looking for something supportive in their lives.
